Good questions
Where do the prices come from?
NGX share prices come from iTick and show the date they were taken. FX rates and supported foreign securities come from Yahoo. When a live NGX price is unavailable, the CSCS converter keeps the statement closing price visible.
Do I need an account to use the CSCS converter?
No. The converter reads your statement in the browser and builds a temporary dashboard. Only matched ticker symbols are sent to retrieve current NGX prices.
Which CSCS files can I convert?
Supported text-based CSCS PDFs and CSCS Portfolio Details CSV or XLSX exports up to 5 MB. Scanned and password-protected PDFs are not supported.
Does Clostar support Bamboo?
For Bamboo NGX holdings, Clostar supports recognized CSCS statements supplied through Bamboo. The converter does not parse a separate proprietary Bamboo statement.
Can I hold the same share in two accounts?
Yes. Each account keeps its own units and average cost; the overview combines them.
